 Fossil Discovery Trail Hike
Description: Quarry Area (Utah Side) Daily, 10:00 am & 1:00 pm. 1 hours / 1.2 miles. Discover fascinating fossils and evidence of ancient ecosystems on a hike from the Quarry Exhibit Hall to the visitor center. Meet at the Quarry Exhibit Hall shuttle stop. Difficulty: Moderate. This trail includes some stairs and is not recommended for people with a fear of heights. Wear good walking shoes, bring water, wear sunscreen and a hat.

 Smithsonian Exhibition: Journey Stories
Description: Journey Stories is a traveling Smithsonian exhibition that explores how migration and transportation built our nation, how it has changed us, and how our mobile world looked to travelers along the way. An accompanying local exhibition called "From Obstacle to Opportunity: the Green and Yampa Rivers" compares Green and Yampa River journeys over the last 150 years to show changes in who ran the river, how they traveled, and why they bothered. The museum is also hosting "River Ramblings," an open art and photography exhibit on display through August 1, 2014.
