 Bayside, The Sidekicks, Kid Jerusalem
Description: Bayside Bayside lead singer/rhythm guitarist and founding member Anthony Raneri has been waiting 10 years-since he formed the rock group in Queens, N.Y. in the winter of 2000-to make an album like Killing Time, which represents a number of firsts for the band named after his hometown. The album is the band's debut for new label Wind-up Records after four releases on Chicago-based indie Victory Records, including Sirens and Condolences (2004), Bayside (2005), The Walking Wounded (2007) and Shudder (2008), steadily growing their following through tireless touring. Recording their latest at Dreamland Studios in Woodstock, N.Y., and Water Music in Hoboken, N.J., with renowned producer Gil Norton [Foo Fighters, Counting Crows, Pixies, Jimmy Eat World], Bayside finally had the time and resources to fulfill their creative vision. The group turns Raneri's acoustic songs into full-blown, deceptively complex rock epics that touch on bitter endings (like that of his marriage on the fir

 Tech N9ne, Krizz Kaliko
Description: Supporting Acts: Machine Gun Kelly, Mayday, Prozak, Stevie Stone Tech N9ne The Kansas City rap king has sold more than 500,000 albums independently, performed in front of more than half a million people in the last three years and established himself as one of underground rap's most respected artists. With the impending release of his third national album, the monumental Everready (The Religion), Tech N9ne is poised to graduate from one of rap's best-kept secrets to a major international superstar. After experiencing a number of professional setbacks while promoting his critically acclaimed Anghellic and Absolute Power albums, Tech N9ne felt that Everready (The Religion) was an affirmation of his staying power. "I wanted to name it Everready because if you look at the old Eveready batteries, their logo included nine lives," Tech explains. "That album title symbolizes nine lives, another life after death. I've had a lot of deaths in the music industry and

Theory Of A Deadman, Pop Evil
Description: Theory Of A Deadman Theory of a Deadman had a simple but daunting goal for its third album: to make the greatest record possible. "I always try to remind the guys and myself that there are 20 bands lined up behind us just waiting for a chance to take our place," says frontman Tyler Connolly. "So that means we had to go in there and make a great record." With Scars & Souvenirs, the Vancouver trio has hit its mark. The balanced 13-track effort is the polished and passionate testament to seven years of hard work, heavy touring and diligent attention to its craft. From the swirling grind of "By the Way" to the nasty snarl of "Crutch" to the soaring melodicism of "Not Meant to Be" and "Wait For Me," Scars & Souvenirs is a broad-reaching endeavor that puts Connolly, guitarist Dave Brenner and bassist Dean Back high in the rock pantheon, achieving creative growth without sacrificing the hard-hitting power that got them here in the

EAT YOUR HEART OUT FEST - ATTACK ATTACK!
Description: This event is 16 and over ATTACK ATTACK!WebsiteMySpaceFacebookTwitterLinksA Cardiff, Wales, band brought together by a strong love of punk, grunge, and new wave, Attack! Attack! UK first started blowing audiences away in 2007. Their frenetic electro-screamo brand of 21st century attitude was a quick success, and by 2008, the band signed a deal with American label Rock Ridge and released its debut (a self-titled affair) that same year. In addition to garnering attention from the professionals in the biz, Attack! Attack! UK also managed to create quite a buzz with the civilians and colleagues in the rock music universe, sharing stages with such names as Lostprophets, Go:Audio, and Funeral for a Friend. The members of Attack! Attack! UK were no strangers or newbies to the scene, however. Neil Starr (vocals, guitar), Will Davies (bass), and Ryan Day (drums) had earned their stripes and honed their chops as part of such former outfits as Dopamine, Adequate Seven, Midasuno, and Petes Sake.
