 Recycled Animal Art: Mixed Media Animal Sculptures
Description: Join local artist Mary Richmond of Cape Cod Art and Nature for an exciting family series about creating art from items you might have discarded. All materials will be provided, but you are also welcome to bring treasures from your own trash bin. Open to ages 4-10 with an adult. Younger siblings are welcome with adult supervision and coloring supplies will be provided for their entertainment. February 11: Mosaic Sea Creatures Artists all over the world are using plastic tops and containers to make some amazing art. Well make our own mosaic creations with small plastic pieces of different colors. Please join us for other programs in this series: January 28: 3-D Animal Sculptures or Mobiles The paper and cardboard you collect for recycling can be used to make all sorts of amazing animals and birds with just a few tools and a lot of imagination. Description: Learn how birds and other creatures with wings take flight. Well alternate indoor activities with outdoor explorations during school vacation week.
