This year will be the 13th annual event sponsored by the East Oregonian and Hermiston Herald. Kid's Butte Scoot will be run on grass. 5K walk, 5K run, and 10K will be run on the roads surrounding Hermiston's major landmark - the Hermiston Butte. Great playground and park for kids to play on after the races. Hermiston Cross Country athletes will coach/entertain children ages 5-12 during the other races so parents can participate. Refreshments, awards, and raffle will occur after event. Early registration fee (before May 1) includes chip-timing, custom bib number, goodie bag, and commemorative Brooks technical t-shirt. Registration after May 1 does not include a shirt and is still $25 online. An additional $5 fee will be added to race-day registration fee.
