MARATHON COURSE: The marathon is a scenic, rolling, point-to-point, USA T&F certified course (#AZ02007GAN) that can be used as a qualifier for the Boston Marathon. All runners will receive free transportation to the start. A clothing drop bag location will be at the marathon start, and runners will receive their clothes after the finish of the race. The race start elevation is at 2330 feet above sea level. The elevation at the finish is 1840 feet. The elevation rises and falls gradually numerous times throughout most of the course. Every mile split will be marked. The race will be chip timed. OTHER RACE COURSES: The half marathon and 10K are both scenic out-and-back courses, starting and ending in Prospector Park. The 8K is a desert trail run starting and ending in Prospector Park. The 2-mile family fun run/walk starts and ends in the Park and loops out on to Idaho Road.
