This boat needs to be painted, and the wood sanded in refinished in some areas. It is old, and shows it a little, but it is a strong vessel. It has a fully hand-laid hull and glassed-in keel. It would be best to step down the mast because the anchor light needs a new bulb and it needs spreader lamps. Plus at the same time the roller furler could be installed. However, there is no sail for the furler. All of the current jibs are hank-on style. The main hatch is a homemade job, and thus needs to be replaced. It also needs a coat of bottom paint. |

It is made with high-density foam, fiberglass and resin.Maneuverability at speed is balanced and predictable, even in heavy seas. The boat holds her course with little effort. The hulls near flatness toward the stern and reverse chines greatly reduces the rolling motions, making cruising in rough water much more pleasant. Fishermen will love the way the boat tracks at trolling speeds, allowing the focus to remain on the fishing. And with only eight of draft and a thick bottom she can easily be beached or anchored for beach combing adventures. |
