This boat is a 1988 Sea Ray seville with a 135 hp Mercruiser. It has 525 hours on it. It starts well and runs smoothly. It has had a tune up just this year. It is in storage right now so it would come with storage for only this winter if wanted. The boat could use a carb. rebuilt kit ( 50) but can run fine without it, it also has a tear in the bow cushion. All and all it is a great running and looking boatfor its age. I believe the Aristocraft Torpedo is the most beautiful mahogany wood boat ever designed. The very first show I took it to I placed 2nd and the motor was not even completed. I had many people come back for a second and even third look, the lines and style of this boat are amazing and very catching to the eye. The Hardware is all cast aluminum and like no others I have seen. The vintage bullet style front lights scream I'm from the fifties and the blonde wood hood scoop is awesome. This boat is still being made today In Atlanta by the original family who started production back in the forties / fifties for these boats. I believe this particular boat was built in 1999. It was custom built in 1903 as a custom day cruiser for James Packard, the motor car manufacturer. This was one of the early boats known as a Naptha Launch, and was used by Mr. Packard on Chautauqua Lake, NY. It has white oak frames with white cedar planking. All interior trim is mahogany. Exterior hardware is brass, original manual anchor hoist is brass. Brass running lights and spotlight were manufactored prior to 1890 and are now electric, converted from original oil lamps. It was designated as a U.S. Postal boat in the 1970's, and was featured on a special stamp.
