This car is a fine example of the proud Trans Am. I am the 2nd owner. The car has been kept and cared for as a collector vehicle. The car is pretty much as it was when originally purchased, excluding maintenance items such as belts and hoses and exhaust. The cold start injector has been removed. It has a TPI motor which may not have been a normal engine for this car at the time of its production. Oral history from the previous owner indicated that it may have been only 1 of 25 sold: but despite some significant effort, I was unable to confirm that. The investigation indicated that it was a special edition vehicle. The interior is excellent except that a couple of radio buttons are sticky and the rear speakers have gone bad. I will replace speakers if desired. The paint is showing some fade, which disappears with a wax job and has a couple of scratches. I would love to see this remain a collector car. The car has a full compliment of accessories and has original documentation. |
