1962 FORD THUNERBIRD, 2-Door Hard-Top automobile. This car has been pampered and a toy for several years now, without much use. It was a Florida Car and brought to New York for retirement. It has less than 50,000 miles of use. The car still has its original paint job and has never been involved in an accident. There was one damaged rocker panel; that I had it professionally fixed several years ago. If someone wants a nice car for pleasure driving or auto-shows, this can certainly qualify. This model is one of the - birds that has the right tilting steering wheel for ease of getting in and out of the car. The seat upholstery is original, as well as the rugs. The front seats showed some signs of needing help; so I put real sheepskin covers on them and they are still very good. The glass is good and the chrome is in great condition. The only things that will need some attention are the radio, and the air conditioning system. I havent used either in over 15 years. |
